Offensive coordinator ill, but things are funky
It seemed odd that the Dolphins would hire Marc Trestman -- a man whose offenses were tops in the NFL -- as their assistant head coach and quarterbacks coach. What does the assistant head coach really do anyway? He's either heir to the whole throne or he ends up being one of the coordinators.
But when Joel Collier "fell ill" the Dolphins didn't name Trestman the offensive coordinator.
It seems that things are boiling over among the coaching staff in Miami.
